How to do Stair Climber

Setup

Step onto the machine and place your feet flat on the pedals. Grasp the handrails lightly for balance and stand upright with your core engaged.

How to do it

  1. Take full steps by allowing the pedals to descend completely before the next step.
  2. Keep your weight centered over your feet rather than leaning heavily on the rails.
  3. Maintain an upright posture with your chest lifted and shoulders back.
  4. Use a steady, controlled pace that allows you to sustain continuous stepping.
  5. Focus on pushing through your entire foot rather than just your toes.

Watch out for

  • Leaning too heavily on the handrails, which reduces leg engagement and calorie burn.
  • Taking partial steps that don't allow the pedals to reach their full range of motion.
  • Hunching forward at the waist instead of maintaining an upright spine position.
