How to do Jumping Jacks

Setup

Stand upright with feet together and arms relaxed at your sides. Keep your core engaged and maintain a tall posture throughout the movement.

How to do it

  1. Jump both feet out wide while simultaneously raising arms overhead in one fluid motion
  2. Land softly on the balls of your feet with knees slightly bent
  3. Jump feet back together while lowering arms to your sides
  4. Maintain a steady, rhythmic pace and breathe continuously throughout
  5. Keep your core tight and avoid excessive forward lean

Watch out for

  • Landing heavily on flat feet instead of absorbing impact with bent knees
  • Holding breath or breathing irregularly during repetitions
  • Allowing shoulders to hunch forward or losing upright posture
